The Bath Recovery Engagement Center, operated by Loyola Recovery Foundation, is a unique partnership with the Veterans Administration. This high quality entry service in a hospital environment paves the way for successful pathways to addiction recovery.
The center features proven best practices delivered by an empowered and motivated staff. Management is performance driven. The results validate this new model. In 2008, for instance, 83% of LRF customers were successfully engaged in the next level of care (N=381). Average rates in comparable facilies in the U.S. are below 30%. We achieve these results by thorough pursuit of these goals:
Recover the body’s natural healing capacity. Detoxification is initiated by complete physical assessment that addresses all health issues.
Restore the mind. Assist the individual in coming to terms with recent experience and grounding him or her in the present. This includes a comprehensive evaluation, an assessment of needs, and a psychiatric consultation, when indicated.
Renew the spirit. Proven motivational practices are employed to engage his or her own spiritual assets. The pathway to help and a positive future begins with new thinking to replace chemical misuse and addiction. Our staff, dedicated to building hopeful and positive thinking, includes licensed health professionals and counselors—many in long-term addiction recovery as well as veterans of U.S. military service.
Deliver to the next level of care. The transition includes transportation by members of the treatment team. All relevent clinical materials are delivered at the same time to assure continuity of care.
